i've ridden with a baseball bat  on my back. that was fun.

the best was when i was carrying my claymore. the only issue was it kept catching on the left side of the seat as i turned to check traffic on that side and the hilt would hit my helmet on the right side every now and then

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

About the same time you're dragging your knees through a series of tight left-right-handers on Sunday afternoon, some guy in white shoes is sweating a 3-foot putt. Go figure.

Aikido.  We use the bokken, jo and tanto for weapons work.  I actually just read a book tonight that was discussing how the US is showing a lot of interest in Kendo but the sport gets rather expensive (approx. $1000 for protective armor alone.. http://www.e-bogu.com/Kendo_s/178.htm ) and we don't have many instructors here yet.  I was saying that I got a job offer in Japan a few weeks ago.  I was going to take up Aikido along with Kendo.  It looks like fun stuff!

It's great fun. Hard....but fun. I've been doing it for about 17 years. I love aikido - never done it but I love watching it....
This place feels nice. Black S4RS, CRG Barend mirrors, vented clutch cover, gold clutch plate, gold pazzo racing levers, full 50m termi system, little carbon extras....oh yeah ...almost forgot....ban corporate coffee!

a friend needed to borrow it for a costume.

it's not like i could take it off and use it while riding. the hilt sits to the right and i'm not locking the throttle in traffic.  ;D
