I was looking in my mirror trying to figure out why you were falling back so much, and just happend to notice the car next to me had red blue flashing lights.

seriously...he rolled up on my left and as soon as i glanced over he turned on the lights!  i was pretty sure that was it, but when i rolled off the throttle he sped up after you.  either way, thanks to whoever/whatever was the reason he was in a good mood last night.

By the time I noticed him, I figured it was too late to back off.   

We weren't going that fast anyway.  Still  when I noticed him/her though.
