I hate that BS, they add  non-related keywords to their auctions to get better results on searches.  Why isn't ebay aware of this? Or maybe they are and they don't care?

I may be one of the few people here who actually likes the Hyabusa, but that thing is hideious. Also if you look at the straight from behind pic, the tire does not appear to be lined up verticly in the bike. The flat spot appears to be several degrees (prolly 5-10 or so) off true. Is it just me?

Yeah Craigslisters do that shit too. Annoying with R6's and shit when you're trying to find Duc stuff.

I doubt people sticking unrelated shit in their listings costs ebay any money.  I think that's probably all that would make them care.

The Hayabusa DOES have a pretty awesome engine... not my style, but still.

Well, it looks like the tire/wheel are off-center to the right in order to provide room for the chain.

I guess b/c of that the rider has to lean the bike to the right in order to go straight.

Seems like a reasonable sacrifice to make for being able to have a bike that looks that make the beast with two backsing rad.

And have to do a three point turn to make it around a 45 degree turn.

It does not, on the contrary it probably makes them more money on all the add impressions they get by having people click on more pages to get to the shit they actually want or is related.

I can still hate it and it gives me something to write about  :)

Oh don't get me wrong, I make the beast with two backsing hate it too.

I'm just not exactly fond of ebay either.

There are times when I find it BS but many times when I am selling something, I do it. Because of the piss poor search engine ebay uses, people will not find your item unless they are searching within whatever category it is listed in. I found this out when I was selling some Triumph TR7 bits. Back then anyway, if someone searched for Tr7 or TR-7 or Tr-7 they would not find items listed as TR7 (correct spelling). So if you want to get exposure, you are forced to list it as TR7, TR-7, Tr7, Tr-7. Conversely, if someone had incorrectly listed it, and I was searching for TR7 parts, I would not have found it.

If I am selling something that will fit a Triumph or MG or Morgan, Austin, Aston Martin, Ginetta, Morris, TVR, Jaguar, Rover, etc, should I not list it that way? No. If only ten out of a thousand people see the item then I (probably) don't sell it and ebay makes much less money as well.

There are also times where somebody that might not be looking for a Busa (to use this example) but is taken by the striking beauty of the machine and bids. If the seller had not put in "ducati" the bidder may never have found his newest love child.

Point of my ramble? Don't get your panties in a bunch over this.

How much would it cost to convert it back to a regular 'busa?
