So I've just ordered a new tank for my 98 Honda Shadow ACE, which is a little clean-up project of mine at the moment.  This is just a simple suggestion thread.

If you had a cruiser to paint, what would you do?

Also...Remove the front fender?

all flat black
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

I'd find a good airbrush artist, pick a general color scheme & theme and let him/her go wild.
By hammer and hand all arts do stand.

I saw one of these at the dealership the other day... I dig the black/red.  Not the flames so much, but Matte Black with some red accent.  How hard is it to get the engine black?

I'm not wild about the dark idea on a bike that big.  You'd look like a moving black hole.  Candy apple red with silver accents, says I.  Maybe ... MAYBE ... some flames ghosted in but they're so cliche now that they'd have to be super subtle and not some opaque, yellow or neon colored "tatoo" type flames.  Less is more.  Right Nate?   ;D
