I got ahold of one of the guys earlier and they claim that the accounts have been un-frozen. But now they have to call the distributor and find out what is available......

thats right, you read that correctly.

whoa, this is turning a bit sour....shouldn't have waited till now to ensure that the wholesaler had stock - you don't charge and THEN see if you can get the parts!

Do these guys NOT understand how BIG of a mistake this will be if they don't go above and beyond from this point forward. AND the impact it could have on future business?

Yeah cause stringing along a bunch of guys on a few forums won't get out and spread.....on the internet

All right guys, just got off the phone with CycleSector - here's what's going on NOW (the whole payment freeze aside):

1.) Someone contacted their distributor to complain about the pricing they're giving everyone
2.) Their distributor is being a giant PITA about it now regarding availability
3.) Their distributor claims to have 7 sets in stock right now
4.) With 7 sets, the GB price doesn't apply
5.) They're trying to work it out right now

My opinion? Their distributor is stonewalling them because another vendor complained about the price.  I could be wrong.

Either way, they'll be posting some information in this thread later tonight or tomorrow.

Worst case?  Everyone's orders get cancelled and all payments refunded ASAP.

Sorry for the cluster**** guys, I was just trying to hook everyone up.  Totally lame in any case, but at least we know what's going on.

Regardless I'm out near a month now with a mangled rearset.

I'm talking to another vendor that will remain nameless...They may be able to help us out, but to put everyones mind at ease they do alot of ducati stuff and it should hopefully go smoothly.

Ok......Jokes over. Someone send me my rearsets.

Ok here is the deal, I just got off the phone with the NEW vendor. They wish to remain nameless UNTIL we can guarantee the purchase number.

Sato Rear sets have gone up in price by 45 dollars, they are now including a right side heel protector and that has been reflected in the price.

The new price will be 545 shipped in september.
We will have a better idea of actual date in a couple days, but I have been assured that september is a do-able date.

To get it started they will ask for a deposit of 245.

OK so I know its not the price that we got earlier, but after speaking with this vendor it makes NO sense to me as to HOW they were going to be able to get us the parts at that price.

So if we still can get 10 guys to commit we can still get this done.

I have asked for a refund, and I ADVISE everyone of you to do the same. They will not be getting us the parts.
