For those of us in the US, what online retailers do you use for general ducati parts? Stuff like oil filters etc? I used to use kneedraggers and parts411 - both were fantastic, but they don't carry much duc stuff at all.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Might I suggest browsing some of the retailers listed in the DMF Sponsors section?

They're listed right about...

<--- here. (All the way over, past the angry baby.)

Many of them give DMF member discounts, and are often available on the forum for advice, clarification, etc.

Also, welcome to the board!  [thumbsup]

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

All you need to know is to your left on the monitor.  Find DMF sponsors and go shopping [thumbsup]

I've bought stuff from most of the sponsors and have been happy with every one of them.  As for OEM parts, I've bought a few of them from Ducati Seattle.  Even though I am on good terms with my dealership here, sometimes it's easier to place a call and get a package on the doorstep a few days later.

thanks everyone. went with CA-cycle works. They were great. The part got here before I knew it.

I recommend purchasing from your local shop/dealer as often as you can.  It can cost more sometimes (but not always after you pay shipping), but those shops need your business to stay open (the smaller ones anyway).  Most of us need them for major services, and they increase the presence and overall health of the Brand, not to mention your local economy in a small way.

In the interest of full disclosure, I work for a small dealer, BMW-Ducati of Southern Colorado.

Yeah, well, the sponsors need your business to specially the smaller ones.  Chris from Ca-cycleworks.com is a great and very knowledgeable guy.  Desmotimes is also a great source. Either way you are going to be contributing to the US economy which kind of sucks right now.
