I have family in that area. Most of my family, actually. They are spread out from Gretna to Hattiesburg, MS

Well I just found out the tires on my car are all recalled  [roll] I noticed a little bit of a wobble in the front end at slow speeds, and it's been pulling slightly to the right for a while. I did a search on these symptoms, and found that tread separation will cause vehicles to act like this. So I went out to my car, and looked at the tires sure enough there were some pretty tell tale signs of tread separation so I put my spare on the side that seemed to be the worst, and went for a little ride the wobble, and pull was gone so I knew it was a tire problem. I looked at the other tires , and 2of them were messed up also. I was curious so I did a search on Cooper Cobra tire recalls ,and discovered this "CERTAIN COOPER TIRES OF VARIOUS MODELS LISTED ABOVE MANUFACTURED BETWEEN AUGUST 6 AND AUGUST 19, 2006 (DOT SERIAL WEEKS 3206 AND 3306.) SOME OF THE SUBJECT TIRES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH NON-CONFORMING BELT WIRE COAT STOCK. IF PLACED IN SERVICE, THE SUBJECT TIRES MAY DEVELOP A BELT SEPARATION DUE TO A REDUCED ABILITY TO PREVENT CORROSION OF THE STEEL WIRES IN AN INSTANCE WHERE MOISTURE REACHES THE STEEL BELT."  My tires s/n C283306  [bang]

I will be taking a trip to the Cooper dealer here on Monday.

Yeah good thing I didn't just drive 2400 miles  [roll]

I never "registrered" my tires so I am hoping there isn't some B/S loophole that says they don't have to replace them because I never registred.

That's cuz I don't want to break my camera  ;D

It looks like a nice place... a fine backyard for a puggle or two  [thumbsup]

Puggleage keeps cameras happy.
All you need is some sunglasses and the dog, a beer (or three) <BAM!>
Try one!

[bang]

Well so much for this house

To make a long story short the whole deal started going sour (greedy assholes >:() so Brett and I backed out of this one  :-\

The good news is we allready found another house that IMO is WAY better anyhow. 3 br 1.5 bath, 1 car garage(big enough for 1 car, and 1 S4RS  [thumbsup]) it has a carport attached in front of the house that doubles as a cool little patio, FULLY FURNISHED  :o were talking 1 king size bed, 2 queens with sheets blankets, couches, tables, TV, fridge  EVERYTHING I could move in right now!

It's a little older than the other house, and it's not quite as fancy but it is very well taken care of, and the owner seemed extremely nice (the fact that she was actually there to show me the house meant alot to me) It's also a little further away from work than the other house but only by about 3 miles so no big deal. Oh and it's $300.00 less a month  [bacon] [bacon] [bacon]

Then theres this cute little guy named Gustav that might be coming to visit  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
The whole base could possibly be evacuated by the end of the week if this storm keeps heading this way  [bang] we will get evacuated to Fort Worth so either way I will see you guys this weekend.
