I figured rather than continuing to threadjack JBubble's thread, I figured I would start one of our own.....

For anyone that happens to be around the weekend of the 4th, let's get a ride set up....
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I'm in Central MD (Fred/Hagerstown area), but am going to Charleston, WV over the holiday to watch my beloved Hagerstown Suns vs. the West Virginia Power (minor league baseball) - I already bought tickets and made hotel reservations....crap!  [bang]

If you make it mid afternoon Sunday??? [moto] I can be back by then! I want to meet all the gals here! :)

Can you imagine a world without a Ducati???  I think it's called Hell. :)

I'd love to attend, but have a family reunion in upstate central Pennsylvania.

Maybe I can join in next time!! [thumbsup]
Frickin' snow!

How about if the ride ends up at Summit Point?  I will be playing the role of fender fluff and wannabe mechanic extraordinaire for Boogie Racing.  I'll have Stillie's mini me, Austin, in the pits with me.
carbon fiber Superbike front fender, bar end mirrors, floating cast iron rotors, carbon fiber chin fairing, Cycle Cat frame sliders, Arrow carbon fiber low mount slip ons, Rizoma billet cam belt covers w/ plexi windows, Rizoma billet front sprocket cover, billet handlebar clamp, carbon fiber rear hugger, tail chop, open air box, Corbin seat, stainless clutch springs w/ black keepers, suicideless sidestand bolt, Evoluzione clutch slave cylinder

I think that's ok....I am about 35-40 minutes from there at my house.  Or quicker depending on how many cops   [leo] and how heavy the wrist is that day.

I'm somewhat waiting to take this any further until I see what the weather looks like for that Sunday; if it's outrageously hot I am more likely to ride earlier in the day (both for thunderstorm and I don't handle extreme heat well reasons).  At this point, let's leave it open.  I have some different ideas on some routes and we'll see what the weather holds.

It looks as though I may be out of town that weekend after all.....it's my dad's 76th so I may be headed up to Phila.

That, unfortunately, is going to be the weekend of a mass exodus of a large chunk of the local Ducati community.  There is a whole big bunch of us going to Indy for the GP races.   [moto]

Ah!  Well, the good news is, I go up there about once a month, so maybe october,   :)
Wish I was going to Indy though!

We'd love to have you.  Let us know which weekend it will be and we might be able to plan a get together at Asylum or something like that.  Be sure you post up in the CAM section of the forum.  That's where we all hide.
