NEIKOS

I did once.

I was offered an overnight stay in free lodging with 2 meals.

I'm not going to try that argument again  . . .
[bang]

Mother

that's how i feel about it

One thing to remember

and I remember because I had a cop save my life one night

They have to do a job by themselves that any other emergency crew does with two

all fire and EMS rigs are driven with 2 people

one steers and the other looks for hazards and processes radio information

such as directions, special instructions, dangers, and updates

a cop does that by himself

so when I see them do as you described

and they do

regularly  :-\

I give them just a little leeway because I know all the shit that they are proessing in  any given moment

and if they flip on the lights after they flip on the throttle

I mutter

Asshole

but then forgive them

ok sappy jacob speech over

I'm going to go break a law now

I have had two near crashes while driving on the road.  The race track had a contact every time I went out.

Downtown Portland, 3 AM.  I'm coming off the Hawthorne Bridge and on to 1st Avenue South.  I have green lights as far as I can see.  Crossing Jefferson and nearly get T-Boned.  I swerve to avoid contact.  It a LEO.  He puts it in reverse, inches from my door, flips on lights and drives around me.

Little Nestucca Road, my secret moto road.  As some of you know, single lane bridges, two are blind going Eastbound.  I am on the bridge, nearly across, County LEO enters bridge.  I slam on brakes, only going about 20 mph and stop.  He stops, looks at me, I hold hands up like, WTF .  He turns on lights.  I shake my head, no way.  I do not move.  He backs up.  I pass and say "Dude I was already on the bridge." and drive off.

OK, I understand they want to be silent, but the only two times I nearly get hit are LEO's not following the rules of the road.... [bang]

Red S*R near the Space Age gas station in Westmoreland. Is that anyone here?

Was it parked at a corner? I see one there all the time and it looks like it never moves. Driza's parts bike maybe  [evil]

Spotted a nice S4Rs black w/white strip, gold forks, Arrows hanging to one side... Trader Joes (SE) yesterday around 4:30p. The rider was in gear sweat poring from forehead in check out line. Then I saw him pull a pint of ice cream out of his helmet right before putting it on. Pretty clever  [thumbsup]

Today (Saturday), about 3pm, red/white-stripe Monster S2R... dunno if it was an 800 or 1000.  Riding with a grey Triumph 675 Daytona.  They were headed East on Tualatin-Sherwood Rd.  Saw them stop at the intersection of Tualatin-Sherwood and Martinazzi.

Looked like the Trumpet had an Arrow exhaust on it... like the one I've seen up at MotoCorsa numerous times.

A second one today...

Red Monster, Termi lo-mount CF pipes, on 205 NB between ~8:15pm and ~8:40pm.  Passed me on the red 900SS near West Linn, just after we went by the viewpoint at Willamette Falls (where we slowed down because of the cop with someone pulled over...).  License plate was "BUONO" I think... it was a little dark, and I'm not positive, but I think that's what I saw.  Rider was wearing a black/red/silver jacket, looked like a Dainese.  Also wearing a backpack or Camelback.  I fell in and followed until peeling off at the Milwaukie exit.

Anybody on here?
