I mentioned DMF in a response and later referenced this site in a thread and I received one infraction point for doing so.  The reason given was "spamming"

Although the definition of spamming usually has an intended commercial purpose, I guess I must have been spamming for less commercials.  Anyway I thought that getting disciplined for that was very insulting.  And then I noticed they deleted three months worth of posts to clean out any attention to DMF.

I asked them to delete my profile in a thread I made in the general forum.  They deleted my account and the thread.

I sent them 2 e-mails last week explaining that I can't login. I haven't heard back. And I haven't even logged in since the switch, so I couldn't have done anything wrong!

I was sporting the "VS sucks donkey balls" avatar for a while and it stayed up.

I just checked and it's gone.   [leo]

Instead of banning me they changed my screen name to a number and now deny me access ???

I was banned for trying to point some new MADDOG members here.  I didn't even get a warning  :(

Good riddance to them.

I've posted my "Ode to the DML" in several threads.   Let's see what happens!

An Ode to the wonderful DML

Ducati Monsters rule.   That's why we all came to the wonderful DML.
Ugandan Monster owners, Swedish Monster owners, Ducati Monster Owners World Wide.
Can you imagine another place for Monster Owners World wide than the wonderful DML?
A world without Ducati Monsters would be a sad place, indeed.
Time after time, I find myself meeting new Ducati Monster owners.
I think a world without Ducati Monsters would be a narrow world, indeed.
Monsters are my favorite motorcycles.
On my Monster, I can meet many of the people on the wonderful DML.
Never too tired to ride, I can meet them worldwide.
Say what you want, but there will always be a Ducati Monster model.
The DML may come to an end, but Monsters will always survive.
Even without the wonderful DML, Monster owners would find a way to connect.
Regardless of the location, Ducati Monster Owners World Wide would organize.
We will never give up our Ducati Monsters
Others may switch models or brands, but not Ducati Monster Owners.
Rarely does one find such faithfulness.
Lesser brands suffer in shame.
Ducati owners live the dream.
We may have tried other brands, but now we have arrived.
I don't wnat to ride anything but my Ducati Monster.
Ducati Monsters represent the epitome of streetability and style.
Even those who can afford more expensive bikes stay with their Monsters.
Only a fool would replace a Ducati Monster.
Relentless modifications personalize your Monster for you.
Good thing we have the wonderful DML so that we can share this passion!

That.  Is impressive!

I changed my signature to the DMF... with spaces... and they gave me a demerit point. Then I argued with the guy that it couldn't possibly be spam to advertise another web site in my signature... cause they left all the other links I had in there. Nope it is only one site that they consider as spam. They really don't like me any more.   [thumbsup]

I'm puzzled but laughing about it.  I didn't post anything spammish, nothing about the new site, in fact I haven't even been on the old site since discovering the new one - yea!  But just as a lark and to see what was going on over there, I tried to login.  Sure enough, banned, dropped, can't get in anymore.  Sure makes a guy feel wanted.  Oh well, yet another thing that makes this THE place to be for Monster owners.  Thanks all for making this happen.  Now back to good Monster stuff.
If it's got two wheels and a motor, I like it!

Yeah! who woulda thunk?  ;D

Not banned, just can't log in, and don't care enough to find out why.

I have to say, that video is f'ing hilarious! Better than the original, methinks.

From VS's website, this is a description of TOB:

Ducati's line of naked monsters accounts for more than half of its worldwide sales and the members of DucatiMonster.org certainly understand why. More than 19,000 members are approaching 1 million posts in this vibrant community.

Perhaps we're a bit too vibrant for them!   [evil]
