here is what shelli @ sf dainese store is looking for in way of models:
at least 4 models (prefer 3 men - sz 50 Euro, and 1 woman - Euro size 42)

It's actually Dainese sizing, not Euro. Dainese sizing is 10 digits higher than Euro; if you're a men's 40 Euro, then you're a men's 50 in Dainese. I would love to model the women's gear but I'm a 44 (samples are size 42). The clothing samples are from the 2009 collection (coming soon), so there's only one of each.

What we really need to know is what these sizes are in American. ?? I don't know a women's 42 from a 44 from a 32 ...  ???

So here's the important bit... When can we expect to see the new women's line modeled and posted in this thread?

there will be a blockade on all photos of the 2009 dainese fashion show picts until an appropriate time after LDD2008 ... so mark your calendar to attend LDD2008 and be ahead of the pack.

o.k. ... perhaps not a blockade ... but don't be a tool ... attend LDD2008 to see these cool new dainese products firsthand.

a presto,

My jacket says "42" on the inside of it but it's a little big.  Just bought it because is was on sale years ago.  You can probably find a better fit for your gear but if you're lacking for a model let me know.  I'll grab a paper bag and some of your gear and strut my stuff in a pinch...  [cheeky]  What's in it for the models?  Free leather one piece, right?   ;D

Leather two piece, actually.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Yeah, well a pair of boobs are required for that outfit.   [coffee]

Oh, and I assume I'd be modeling riding gear.  I don't do bikinis, tank tops, hot pants, high heels or anything made of spandex.  Leave that nonsense to the umbrella girls. [cheeky]  Protective riding gear only please for me.  Kthxbye.   ;D

As if we didn't have enough boobs running around in this group... We need two more? [cheeky] [laugh] [laugh]

I'd be willing to support the cause for protective gear by actually wearing some in public, but I remain unenlightened about the size requirement. Someone post up what a 42 is in US and end this mystery!

Plus, I might be a bit long in the tooth. The contrast between those cute little jail-bait umbrella girls and a woman old enough to be their mother might be a bit too much....  :-X

Should be a US32 or so, they're typically 10 over the US size.

??? US sizes for girls are like 6, 8, 10 .... Start at 2 (or even 0, what's with that?) for tiny and go all the way up to 24 (or more) for operatic.

The point of the "0" designation was to allow gentleman of the lesser sort of ilk something pick on their girlfriends about. At that point, weight harassment is no longer feasible but one could now state in front of their woman that "I'm dating a real zero", because some of us just don't have enough things we could get slapped over.
