I think you overreacted a little.

It was wrong for you to call MonsterMan an a$$hole and it was equally wrong for him to start it with his comments.

The main problem is that you two still have issues that need to be worked out. I remember the thread on TOB and IMO you need to make this right. I would be pissed off too if it happened to me.

From what I've seen of your work you do a great job. That being said, everyone has a bad day and/or makes mistakes. You should just refund him his money or make him a new swingarm. Period.

It never should have went this far.

Maybe it is best that Norm limit his posting to advice and not use this forum to promote his business.  He seems to have a long history of unhappy customers.  If I recall, there were several people upset with him on the TOB (there was this guy, that Phil guy, and two others that I can remember).  It only makes for unpleasant drama.  This issue should be dealt with privately, but I agree with what Monstermash said.   Buyer beware, I guess.

Norm should take the swingarm back and put it on his personal bike.  If the swingarm is used by Norm for a year then ban the other guy for being an a$$hole.
