I seem to remember 110 links for the last chain I bought, but thought I'd double check in that Ca-Cycleworks calls for a 102 on stock gearing. oh, and it's a '00 M750 Dark. Thanks

You used the whole 110 w/o cutting any off? On my stock gearing (15/39 m900) I think I had to cut off at least 5 links. Can't remember for sure. I think I added 1 link for each rear tooth I went up this last time so I'm 2 links longer for my 15/41. Could be wrong though.

I got the shop to put it on last time, i'm just working from memory (poor at times) of the invoice.

I think you should be fine getting a 110 link chain. If you're that worried about it get a 120 for about $10 more.

I doubt that any Ducati uses 110 links in the chain.  You would need about a 60-tooth rear sprocket to use something that long.

Just get a 110 and cut to length when you install it.  I don't bother counting links when I put on a chain.  I put the rear axle at the middle of the travel, feed the chain around both sprockets, and cut the chain so that it comes out even.  Sometimes I have to move the axle a bit forward or back to get it to come out right.  You can do the same.
