DUCATI questionnaire in Italian!

So did anyone else get a customer service questionnaire from Ducati?

Funny thing is the whole silly thing was in Italian !!   [roll]    (May as well have been GREEK to me).  I DO have an Italian last name so maybe they think I'm fluent.   [roll]   (I'm definitely not) but with the help of Babelfish I muddled through all three or four pages of it.

I sure hope they send it out to everyone in English.  They ask some interesting questions about possible product and services but with my very limited Italian language skills I could only tick off the multiple choice questions.  I wasn't able to leave more comprehensive comments.  (Hmm...Thinking about it more...Maybe it was in Italian because they really don't want people like me to answer   ;D  )

I don't know how this will copy and paste but here's the cover letter I got with a link to the questionnaire.  Unfortunately, now that I've answered the questionnaire it won't let me re-access it.

I replied asking for an English version.

Doubt that I'll get one , but who knows.

You know.....Seeing as how I live in an ENGLISH-speaking country and registered with Ducati in ENGLISH, you would think that they would make an effort to correspond with me in ENGLISH !

It's kind of ironic that many of the questions asked were on the topic of whether I felt it was important that I be "recognized" by Ducati and feel like part of a "family".  I'd be surprised if my dealer recognized me if I walked into the showroom tomorrow.  And Ducati can't even remember what language I speak.

I guess I'm just a very poor and distant cousin. ;D

Yeah I got this email too. What's really funny is to paste it into a translation matrix like google or yahoo have. It comes back in the same broken English that a native Italian speaker who speaks English as a third language or so.   [thumbsup]

My INACCURATE but, I bet It's SOMEWHAT close, interpretation of this would be:

As an owner of a Ducati motorcycle, more than likely you know the meaning of the term emotion.
We put passion into making our motorcycles...(can't figure the rest)
You've decided to put your emotion in a Ducati and it is fundamental that our product and service be in line with the expectations of our most important rider: YOU

Translation for the email would be something like this>
