What lift should I use to remove my upper triple?

Will the lower triple be able to hold the bike up if I use a front stand with a  lower triple pin?  Or will it be necessary to buy / fabricate  a center stand to work the front of the bike.  I am taking my Upper triple "yoke" off to be milled, in order to put SBK forks on my bike.
Thanks in advance for the info.

For Pitbull, the '05 S2R needs their standard pin with the #1 adaptor.  Why Ducati can't make all their bikes a standard size, I have no idea.

Honestly, you can operate a pitbull just fine without the Ducati adapter.  The pin is better, but it works just dandy without it.  I'm also pretty sure you can take off the upper triple without putting the bike on a front stand.  Of course, a front stand is a better idea, but I don't think it's necessary.

Excellent choice on going with the SBK forks...you will be really happy.  Are you going w/ clipons or a bar riser?

I too am running a bar riser...I don't like it.  Lost a little front-end feel.  I am waiting for Speedy moto to come out w/ clip-ons for the monster so I can get some weight over the front again.   BTW, which SBK forks are you installing?
