Pretty cool camera Mr. Slag.  I checked out your youtube test drive on the cam ( & the .50 Cal -OMG! ) and your test drive did not seem as wavery as on the ride.  I was wondering if it is powered by the bike - so could be electrical interference or if it has it's own power supply like a battery.  It seems like your test was a little cleaner - did you change something between the test & the ride?  Anyway thanks for posting it up - being in the photo biz it just looked like the cam was responding to some interference other than vibration. For what it's worth !

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Yeah, I changed it. I am uploading a video right now that shows how bad it is. I mounted it on the bottom of the windscreen this time. Bad idea. The original video had it mounted to the fairing. Unfortunately I never did a test run with it on the windscreen  [bang]

The camera runs off of batteries. I will have it all sorted out by the next run  [thumbsup]

The shooter NEEDS an elbow pad!
I got tires of picking splinters and sticking band-aids! -There is one in each range box now.   8)
Got a bunch of CCI #35's and WC860 the other day... I'll be busy with brass for a while...    [bacon] [bacon] [bacon]

Sometime Ron, you, and I need to stretch out a little farther than Alpine will allow.   [thumbsup]

I shoot at TacPro. They have a 1000 yard range (for members) that is a lot of fun. Anyone can get on the 500.

I sold the .50. Wasn't accurate at all.  I went to an AI .308 with a Schmidt&Bender 4.5x25.

I have lots of .50bmg brass if anyone needs it.

So in the video with the Harley flotilla the wind was blowing your windscreen to make it waver ?  Still seems like it could be elecrical interference with the windscreen location closer to some bike electrics. The way to test would be use the same mount spot - shoot viddy with the bike on ( running ) and the bike off - see if that makes a difference.  The way the images get bigger & smaller seems to indicate something other than vibration.  None of my biz but it's got to be frustrating when you shoot to a card ( ie no monitor ) & find out later something was f'ed up !  I would almost be willing to bet it is still RF interference of some kind !

I really hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the heads up. It is surprising that it works better on the fairing, so close to the battery. It did work perfectly on the tail, but no one wants to see 5 hours of MY ass  ;D

Never been to TacPro, but I hear it's run by a (really cool)  ex SAS guy.
The M82 isn't know for super accuracy... If you were looking for that no doubt you were disappointed.
If Mark Serbu ever gets finished with the BFG-50A we might se a semi that can perform.  Maybe.

Once it cools off a little more we'll have to go to TacPro sometime.

It's probably the charging system on the bike that's causing the electrical interference.
