Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all of the info....

I have been surfing the threads for while now and I was debating over a street triple and the 696.
I'm happy to report i just took delivery of my first bike... an 09 696 Dark!!

seems like a good crowd here with tons of information and passion for the Monsters. hopefully one day I can pass that along to someone too.

right now its like every other stock M696 dark, except for the tail chop, so I'll wait until its a little more personalized to share some pics....

btw... this is my first bike and i have nothing to compare it to, but oh man is this thing fun to ride!!!
