I didn't actually see what was posted but I did hear about it and it was definitely not polite. There aren't many things that upset me but there is someone I am very protective of.

If someone is lurking about and saying that sort of thing which seemed quite specific, direct and intentional but hiding behind another name I would be beyond disappointed.

In fact I would have thought an admission and apology would be in order.

I had the unfortunate luck of reading it, and it also pissed me off big. This person has made some inexcusable statements and he hopes his identity will never be reviled or has it already    Hay Tool 

i dont get pissed very often or right thats a lie i have a short fuse but i mite be old fashioned and was brought up to respect my elders and woman but australia wouldnt  be big enough to hide in if i ever found out ho they really are

Better to say that you had an emergency in the family and had to travel away from your electrate. You could use work as an excuse for travelling as well. Note that it was unexpected and last minute so you could not arrange a prevoting. There is no absentee voting for council elections so all you need do is tell the white lie when they send you the letter. Mke sure you do though as not responding will mean they'll send the fine.

I think, as a community, it was handled quite well, he stepped over a line and one of our fine moderators was on it extremely quickly....the moderators do a heap of work behind the scenes, don't they!

If he continues to be a problem, under his new nom de plume (if he bothers), he will once again have his account deleted.

Who every it is out of the two of you guys it is a pretty low act, and even lower that you wont reveal yourself. I am very surprise that it would be someone that i like and amired that would do this to me. Yes i do have feelings and it has made me very sad to find this out. I  at least know who i can trust and who i can't. So dont expect any thing nice from me now because of this.
