Thanks, but I will not be appearing in a bikini on my bike. I blind people due to the pigment of my skin. The lawsuits are still coming from my last beach trip.

:D

A leather suit would do fine  [thumbsup]

OK Celli's bike is super sweet, no doubt there!

But................Come on...Has it really been on the home page since 15 July??!!!

Really...Can't we find another member's bike that deserves the honor?

Frankly I'm sick of seeing it.

Didn't it used to be "bike of the month" on TOB??

Let's go back to a monthly change.

I've seen many Mega Great Monsters on our DMF. As we all know: a LOT!!! So many that I, honestly, really don't know which one I would choose.
What you can do maybe, is to make a list of members who like to 'be' Bike Of the Moment, with pics and then vote.

Cheers!  [beer]

I think a lot of you guys are missing something.  We don't write up the bomb.  It's not like someone nominates a member's bike and an admin goes out and does an interview.

If you like someone's bike, convince them to write something up and send us some good pictures.   We'll do the tech bit and post it.

Every single person who has complained about the bomb not rotating enough should have a submission in.   It doesn't have to be a machine that has been modded to within an inch of its life.   start writing.   ;D
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

Yeah, I never really thought my Monster was worthy. However...is the BOMB required to be a Monster? I would think that it should be a Ducati. But, opening up the BOMB to other models might make for a more educational spot.

What I mean by that is that I think many people here don't know squat about Ducat history and opening their eyes to past Ducatis (other than just Monsters) would be enlightening and also might get some interested in obtaining and restoring (or just getting on the road) older, neglected Ducais...

Just a thought...

+1 I'm new to Ducati and would enjoy any history lesson I can get.  In order to know the monster, you must know where it comes from, grasshopper.

I would love to see "older neglected" Ducatis.  Right now I don't think there are any rules.  I think just about anything Ducati that gets submitted will probably be posted.

Not so much Older, but mine is most definately Neglected.

Ummmm...

why do you think it's called 'bike' of the moment?

They don't have to be one off customs...

they don't have to have 11ty billion $ worth of bling bolted on...

they don't have to be Monsters...or even Ducatis.

Anyone have a Metralla?...an AJS?...a Royal Enfield 750?

gettin' the picture?

Write it up....take some pics...

get in touch with a flounder and we'll take it from there.

I guess they are men of their word.  I read this thread a few days ago and agreed it was time for a new BOMB.  It only took about 10 minutes to write a few sentences and gather some pictures.  I am flattered they put my bike on the front page, but please don't let it stay there for too long.  Somebody please step up and do another BOMB submission soon.

I'll see if I can get some good pics of my '02 750 dark this weekend and then do a write-up. It has changed quite a bit since I took my avatar pic.

It's currently waiting for a new regulator/rectifier.  >:(

Just so y'all know, I'm gonna abuse my flounder privileges and claim the spot in early December, my '99 M750 hits it's 10th anniversary on Dec 2nd... Expect some not so flash images, but some stories of good times we've had together...
