I searched, and couldn't find it...

I have the factory s/m for my bike, but the manual is an '00 and my bike is an '02.  The torque value in the manual is for a 17mm rear axle, and mine is a 25mm axle.  The torque spec stated for the 17mm is 72 Nm, but is it different for the 25mm?

TIA!!!

I don't know the answer, but if the rear is hollow like the front...

I'd use the same value...

which is 63 Nm with greased threads

Weird that the same fastener on a similar shaft size takes a different torque.

From the factory manual:
Front wheel nut M 25x1.25 63 * GREASE B
Rear wheel shaft nut M 25x1.25 83 * GREASE B
No idea why.

I haven't done a calculation recently, but IIRC, chain tension plus forward thrust at the rear axle can be ~1500 lbs at WOT in 1st gear, so that makes sense to me to have more pinch.

Definitely makes sense.
