I am tempted to get into training this weekend........but I still have to ride down (maybe Thursday or Friday morning) so I'll just have a little warm up 

Booked in at Tex Mex for Friday night and that gets REALLY ugly with all the shooters consumed. Along with the "Pleasure and Pain" sauces they have there .

So what did today bring:

. made a quick visit to the helmet warehouse (following the case of the exploding helmet on the ride yesterday)
. went to the Italian vehicle display at Club Italia, Lansvale
. there was a variety of bikes, scooters and cars there including a fair few ducatis (but not as many as the days when the show used to include the ducati concourse)
. only noticed one other monster ... a 620 dark with silver tank (?) and british columbia plates (double ?), couldn't find the owner though
. it was bloody hot
. briefly met up with Six95 on the way home (he had lost his ears at Pie in the Sky)
. spotted some coppers on the old road

So the coppers ... as always we were well behaved (yes including Jukie, surprise, surprise). North of the Hawkesbury on the old road: a black unmarked commodore (stopped), a red marked car (mobile with radar hanging out the wndow), a bike (stopped, mr coppy with radar in hand) and what Julie suspects was a unmarked car which followed us and suspiciously turned around and gave up on us (in the rear view it looked like a black RX7?). I couldn't believe how many there were that close together around 4ish ... good news is they probably made their periodical quota.

You might think that you don't like your job or that it's really hard to get motivated to go to work on a Monday...... but spare a thought for this for sod.
