i was just trying to start the monster,
i first start it and when the instrument is led i shut it off like right away,
cuz i was just gonna see something
then i started it again, this time it wont start now,
is it that the wire somehow burnt?
prior to that i bent the key , then i bent it back

and i use this key to start.
would it be something related to the immobilizer?

however i still hear the little sound, as you turn the key from off to on,
it'd normally have a sound,

the immobilizer light is still blinking, and i just finished riding for an hour of so,
so the battery is definitely good.

thanks for all views and replies,
i would be greatly appreciated it.
it's an emergency

thanks,
eric

I'm really not sure of your timeline of events.

Have you tried turning hte bike all the way off (key turned all to the off position) and then turned it back on? Do the guages still sweep? Kill switch off? Tried the other key?

Do us a favor and try a different key-I'm suspicious of the bending.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

i went home from school, i rode for about an hour,
then i was putting on the rack system from ventura,
then i accidentally bent my key cuz the rack doesnt fit well at the seat lock position
so i kinda twist my key there, and i twist is back then i wanna see if the key is working
so i put it in the ignition , then i turn it to on position then the cluster light went on and everything seen fine
then i shut it off and try to turn on again, cuz if seems to me that i cant turn the key freely as usual,
then the bike just die, however the immobizer light is still flashing, so i assum the battery is still good.

i also try the spare black key and the red key, it's still, not starting

thanks for the reply,

I wonder if you triggered the immobilizer. Have you tried to go through the procedure in the manual to disable it?

Drat, couldn't log on for a sec. Also, check your fuses if nothing is coming on at all.

Ok, to summarize, cause I'm still having a hard time understanding.

Guages are no longer sweeping.
You've tried all three keys.
You've tried resetting it with the red key and the steps outlined in your user manual.
You're still hearing something when you turn the key to on.

Are all of these correct?

i heard something when the first few time trying to restart it,
but after 3 4 time attempts it disappeared,
the ducati ny told me to reprogram all the keys ,
and it didnt work too,
now the immobilizer light is not flashing and i dont hear any sound as usual

Did you check your fuses? right hand side below the battery? I blew a fuse when I changed out my tail light and it wouldn't start.
