Great idea, I'll see if there's anything going on while I'm there. [thumbsup]

make the beast with two backs no. there's barely a cell signal.

Trouble, i packed a helmet, winter jacket and riding pants into a roll aboard suit case and then brought a backpack full of clothes when I was last in OR. And Rameses is right about the weather.

Don't forget the fog...  It's been pretty nasty the past couple mornings.  It'll be a bit cooler by mid-October, might even see frost in the AM ~

Okay, so what days are we looking at doing the Dragon and surrounding roads?

I need to know so I can make work plans accordingly.

Trouble said he's renting the HD on Saturday so maybe that day? I was gonna head out to my place on Friday since its a hard 3 hours from Charlotte. I figured I'd do some riding all day saturday, stay overnight at my place again, then do a little riding Sunday morning and head back.

Deals is a smidge over 2 hours from my place on some really sweet roads.

Rameses

So should I plan on heading up there Friday afternoon and coming back Sunday afternoon?

I would say yes. If youre comin from the RTP area, it'll be a haul for you. You will want to map it out to get to Cashiers, NC.

I'll PM you an exact addy later and will prolly meet you in town and lead you to the place, especially if its dark.

Don't let Rameses build a fire in the log cabin.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The next one's not going to be so spontaneous.

I have something special planned for an old DML artifact.   [evil]
