Your (and my) Italian bike is assembled at Bologna, I have nfi where the parts come from & don't really care as long as they work. Same goes for Triumph.

love that bike. it was the same cost as my S2R1000, and if they had that bike instock ,i would of bought it.

Did you buy your S2R used? You can get an S3 for the price of a S2R1000. But you will pay more if it is black.

Almost forgot, thumbs down on the StreetTriple.  8)

Actually, the motor is dumbed down, by about 20hp. The suspension is from the '08 Daytona with different spring rates. The '09 Daytona has high & low speed compression damping that the '08 doesn't. The main difference (allegedly) between the '08 Daytona motor and the Street Triple (the R & standard have the same motor) is the ECU tune & the cam shaft. The '09 Daytona motor is an upgrade to the '08 and won't be in either Street Triple.

The low mount, single side GP exhaust on the Speed Triple is an Arrow exhaust. There's a similar exhaust for the Street Triple from arrow but the Zard Basso looks better IMO.

Whatever you think looks wise, the Speed Triple is more similar, performance wise, to the S4R than the S2R1k.
