anyone know the torque specs for the rear axle nuts on my 695? or is it "T" for tight?
home will always be between the red and rio!!!

i think the torque specs on the SS were about 83Nm (22mm?).  the M750 was about the same.

greased threads and  83Nm is what's been posted before in the tech section

Chris,

The following is lifted from the owner's manual of a 2007 Ducati Monster 695, page 50, last paragraph.  The section in the Manual was regarding "Tensioning the drive chain". 

Grease the thread of the axle nut (1) with SHELL
Retinax HDX2 and tighten to a torque of 72 Nm.
Grease the threads of the adjuster screws (2) with
SHELL Alvania R3 an tighten to a torque of 8 Nm.

right side no prob. left side just spins along with axle. even if i put the right side back on the left side just spins. i think tomm i will try the old double nut trick. this is really startn to test my patience!!! [bang] [bang]
