i tried the way ducati ny told me,
red key-black key 1- black key- thing,
it's not working.
they said this should reprogram all the keys .

which fuse>? and how do i know if it's blown?

i notice there's a fuse under the tank and it's connected to the tank from both side and combine into one
this one is open-ended. i am not sure what's this though?

thanks again for all the help, you have no idea how much i appreciate it.

Ok, first of all, we don't know what Ducati NY told you. What did they tell you to do as far as reprogramming?

Second of all, do you have an owner's manual?

Yeah, I'm really sorry. It's tough to diagnose these things just from forum posts.

One other idea is to post in you local club section and see if there's anyone local that does more hands on bike work that may come by your place and help you out in person. I know there are several guys here locally that I rely on when I'm having issues. Local contacts are some of the best things to come out of this board.

Just wanna clarify that I'm not trying to be snappy, just trying to get a firm grasp of what's been done.

If you have an owners manual, it gives you a pic of the blown fuse as well as where the fuses are.

The main fuse box is located on the left of the battery. The fuses are accessed by removing the cover, which shows the ampere ratings and mounting locations.

Thats from my 07 S2R manual.

thanks guys, i will check all the fuses and battery as well,
but if the battery is dead where is the best place to purchase one that's suitable for monster 620?

Before buying a battery the old one would need to be charged and tested.  Then the charging system would need to be checked out, since, if the charging system is not working correctly you will be back to where you are now.  Do you own a multi meter or a volt meter?  Also, keep in mind, if the key is in the ignition switch for more than 15 seconds the bike won't start.

If you need to buy a proper battery and you want to buy it right away in NYC your options are limited.  Ducati NY will have them in stock, but it won't be cheap.  You could try local Yamaha dealers since some R6s use the same battery.  The Yuasa YT12B-BS AGM battery is the replacement.  Other brands are fine as long as they are AGM and spec the same.  You can also buy the battery here:

i went to check the fuses this morning and , i realized i burnt two fuses,
the 30 master one and the 15 pilot light , NO,tail light one,
then i replace them back up, after i 've done so,
the immobilizer light when on and start flashing,
theni try to start the engine,
but it wont start still and i went to ckek all the fuses,
this time, the 15 tali light and pilot light fuse is busted again,
then i replace it again, then it's busted onece, again.

it's constantly happening,
anyone knows what happen?
i did put a ventura rack sysytem on my bike and one of the parts that's right up against the
tail light assembly, i have the alternative all in one taillight.
thanks,

-=====problem fixed=====

thanks everyone, i am so happy now,
and so glad the so many of you help me
it turn out to be the fuses that i blew
i blew two fuses and then i found out the the reason the
taillight one is busting constantly is because
when i screw the mudgauard i acccidentally squeezed the wires
and the electric current is rejected , therefore the fuse is busting

thanks superjohn,
thanks all of you

very cool. I'm glad you're back out riding.

If you want to learn more about basic upkeep and whatnot, I would highly recommend the Haynes Manual for our particular bikes. You can pick it up from Amazon and they're definitely worth the money.
