So I ride up to my house this evening and I see a guy has his minivan in my front yard.  i have a ditch that runs across my yard between the grass and the street.  somehow he's backed up into my yard, the front end is physically sitting on the street and the 2 front wheels (the drive wheels) are about 4 inches off the bottom of the ditch. 

I tell him he needs to call a tow truck, but he wants to call his friend using my cell phone.  okay, go ahead, I say. So his friend comes over, has 6 more guys with him and 2 long 2x4s.  they propped the boards under the tires and lifted the front end up and got him unstuck. 

I held the flashlight

did he explain?

He was trying to do a 3 point turn apparently.  He just barely missed hitting the yellow/black striped warning sign in the ditch. 

That would have had FAIL written all across it.

Glad it wasn't anything serious. Like the time I came home from band practice and there was a guy in my front yard w/ a shotgun.

That ditch sounds like a good way to keep people from driving into your house. Maybe I should build one.

Sounds like my ex describing sex w/ me. It just drags on and on and there's never any climax.

My one neighbor was drunk and drove across his yard and into the side of my car one night.
When I went out there, his first words were, "It's no big deal."
How I didn't end up killing him on the spot astounds me.
