To be fair, the plane should a little RC BB gun mounted on it to fire back. It'd make those guys work a little harder.

I agree.  Hitting a highly mobile target that is that small would be REALLY tough.  Kind of hard to lead a target when you can barely see it.

the compression after uploading the video makes it suck. i think you could see the target well enough, and you could lead it. the pilot was flying in a fairly predictable manner so you can judge where it's going to be makingthe lead easier.
p;lus when you are throwing that much lead out there, someone had to hit it.

I've actually done this, or similar.  One of my friends is really into model planes, so built a couple crappy ones (beginner ones that are easy to fly and made of styrofoam) and we gave him some money because of the engines.  We did it ARs and handguns, but were at 50yards instead of 200yards.  It was fun, i recommend trying it sometime.

I used to fly for many years at an RC club's field out in the styx. There was a guy who lived off in one corner of the little rc pattern, every once in a while if he drunk enough and pissed off enough he would bust out his shotgun and take someone down.
