Alrighty then, never one to sit around when I could be causing trouble    I've ordered 40 of these Medical Information Carrier tags for our riding pleasure.  I've got one on my helmet and it's held up very well - waterproof, etc.  Sticks right on to the outside of the helmet.  Very small - about  2 1/4" by 1"  - and could be easily snipped open by EMT personnel should the cause arise... Believe me when I tell you those guys have got some wicked-bad snips... straight through a Ducati leather jacket like butter   



Any-frigg'n-way, they should be here by the end of the week so I'll give 5 or 10 to Bryant, Brian, CJ, and Tommy so they can give them to all the rest of you folks if I don't see you first; I'm thinking that when we all get together on Friday night in the Hill Country would prolly be a good opportunity.  Obviously you don't have to take one but, hey, it's free, and it'll keep me and Brian from hassling you from here to eternity at the next group ride for your ICE info

Hey, don't speak for me!! I plan to hassle everyone from here to eternity at the next group ride about something whether they have one of these are not! I just have to come up with something new. Maybe tire pressure, proper boots... I'll find something!

Thanks a bunch Lisa for being so pro-active on this. Something good usually does come out of something bad, you just have to look for it. I think we are on the right track with this and the ICE data base. Well done people!!

Do we need to order more? Several peeps I know have 2 or more helmets... How much are those thangs, anyway?

They are 1.99 each.  I'm working on a "group buy."   CycleGadgets says on their website they used to give these things away for free but they ended up going to non-moto uses so they charge a couple of bucks per now.

If you want to pitch in on cost, that's cool.  If not, no worries.  They ain't gonna break the bank (although after today's stock market debacle...)

Lisa if you find the amount we have to order for a price break let us know.  I'm sure we can use them up for new people to the group and new helmets to the group.

This is a great idea,  I wish I would have had this when I was in my accident!!  I am foing to order one myself!!

I know brian is old and lisa is pretty, but listen to these people, get it, fill it out, put it on your damn helmet!!
