Monsterous Arrival 2008

Nothing like a big ole line of monsters heading to La Ducati Day in La Honda.   We'll arrive in force.  If you did this last year, you know it's a blast.     Below are the meet-up spots.  If others want to arrange other meet-up points to head to Alice's PM me or post up.  We'll see you at Alice's and then at LDD.   [moto]      NOTE:  THIS WILL BE AT PARADE LAP PACE.  This is NOT a group ride pace.  We're going to stay near the speed limit.  With a large group and a lot of unknown riders and with lots of  out there, we're just trying to keep it safe and to keep a large group together.  The point is to get from A to B safely, not to get your twisties fix for the day.  Do your "normal" ride before or after.  Again, it's parade  lap pace, more like a procession than an actual ride. 

ALICE's MEET-UP:  Arrive at Alice's at 11:15.  Leave Alice's (35 & 84) at 11:30 for LDD.  That'll get us to LDD in time for the Dainese fashion show at noon.    Map to Alice's

SF Pre-Meet.  A group will be leaving from Zeitgeist in SF.  Meet at 10:15.  Kickstands up at 10:30.  We will leave your ass behind if you're later than 10:30.  Map.

Dublin Pre-Meet   Starbucks in front of the Regal Cinemas at Hacienda Crossings.  Map.  Meet 9ish.  Leave at 9:30.

South Bay Pre-Meet.  76 Station in Saratoga.  Meet at 10:30. Kickstands up at 10:45.  Map.



P.S.  Bring your friends, non-Monster or non-Ducs.   We don't care.  'course I can't guarantee we won't stick your ass in the back of the line.   

Post up if you plan on attending so we have a sense of how many to expect and can figure out who we have as ride leaders.

Will you be taking 280 down, or 101?

280.  We'll jump on 101 at Duboce, immediately get on 280.  Then off at 92 and take 35 to Alice's.  PARADE LAP PACE.

Update: DESMO Q is UP AND RUNNING AGAIN! I'll be able to make the ride

I think I'm in --- 80% or so.  I pick up my bike from the 12k service tomorrow!  (Out for 2 weeks!  Ouch.)
