Thanks for the concern, we found it fine, but right at 6:00.  I just got home at 10:00  His bike is gonna be taken to Alvaredo in the morning.  Oh, and it's Marquess

Not that there is anything wrong with that 

WC's bike was not as bad as I expected. Every piece of plastic needs to be replaced, left side rear set. All of the hand controls are trashed. The good (or bad) news is the frame looked fine. I am going to go out on a limb and guess $4 to $5k in total damage.

The carbon air ducts on that bike are beautiful

OEM plastic is easily $4k.  From what Victor told me at AMS when that dog ran into him, the right side panel cost about $1500 alone.  The nose cone and tail pieces aren't cheap either.

I'm just thinking that by now, the bike's totaled, & Big Oil should spring for a new one

If it is totaled, I know there are some carbon parts that could use a good home on my bike

But you can buy the whole plastic kit (-tail) from online vendors for 1200 is the kicker.  Sum of the parts is greater than the whole.

The side panels are $450. The nose is around $600. I do not remember what the new tail cost was, but think it was around $900. I passed on ordering the tail, but have a right side coming.

WC had not listed all of the carbon with his insurance. The 2 insurance companies are going to have a good fight with who fixes what.
