A spur of the moment thought...

Anyone interested in some excellent brews of the season? I'm thinking of The Covey on S. Hulen St. in FW for a few pints Thursday this week (10-09-08). Food is by far some of the best around (gourmet pizzas!), salads that can't be beat and lots of flat screens in modern upscale austin stone building.

Long story for iPhone to tell - gets starved for gas and dies - starts right back up...

Thought it was just the fuel hose getting pinched(happened to jim going home from the mod party @ CDC's)

Cyclone, it's all good here the DFW. I work in downtown Dal and live in FW. My wife does not like eating bad food and likes good fresh beer so when The Covey opened a few years back it was just a good fit. I just haven't had the time to find all the good beer halls of late. All the micros closed down when the cigar thing went away. Damn Bill Clinton for that! Oh well, I'm still down with maduros and a hand crafted brew anyday.

As for THC I'll try to get down on Friday night but will prolly have to exit Sunday sometime.

Man, hefeweizen... I love hefeweizens.  But I can't make it on Thursday, unfortunately.  How about trying this again on a weekend sometime soon?

Lisa, that's what I love about this group, always finding creative ways to ride. All you have to do is call my cell or if planning post up and I'll more than happily putt over to whet the whistle. It's really a nice place and the best pub grub to be found. Then there's the formal side if you like wild game and such for dinner.
