Just another bump for this thread.

I hope that this clears up before October! I can stay at home and get this for free.

I just felt compelled to rescue this thread from page three.

The plans are coming together. Can't wait for this one. Turns out to be a week and a half on the road for me. ;D

Has anyone who is registered heard anything more about this gig?  I've only had a reminder about  my outstanding safety inspection.  It's being held up by the fact that my bike still doesn't have a round black thingy on the back.  God hope it's ready in time or I will be mighty disappointed (to say the least). Well Heather I hope you get your wheel in time.
But I hate to say I can't go down, not enough work right now for me to take 6-7 days away.
Hope you all have a great time, hope that next year I can get there.

cheers

Matty, do they have professional photographers at the event? You could go and take photos and then sell shots....On CD sent to their home address for a sum.

We have beautiful machines and do like to show them off!

mattyvas

I am sure Sane Events have that covered in some way.
I was thinking about that and about covering it and selling it to the Mags.
But I think I've left my run a little too late.
I'll see what comes out of this years Tourismo and pitch something for next year.

What!

So, who's going down in Vince's jaloppy now?

mattyvas

No-one, Rusty has caught a lift with Warren our mate from DOC NSW for the way and someone else for the journey home.

Just can't afford the time away right now.

So, is Vince going by himself then?

Or was that trailer just for show.....

and trackdays.  ;)

vince had to back out cause of a work committment o/s - geez you go and get yourself married and you're already loosing track of things

;D

So is anyone still going to turismo?  I'm still waiting to get my bike back.  Wheel should have been fitted today hopefully - haven't dared ring - too sick of getting bad news.

Am I going to be the only traveller from Vic?

Sorry you can't make it Matty. Sure you can't go without eating and paying bills for a week or two?.  My photos will be a poor substitute if I manage to take any. Think I'll be too busy riding it's been so long since I had my bike. lol.

Us monster riders may be a bit thin on the ground by the looks.

Hey there Heather
I'm still coming down , Rusty is aswell last I heard and I think Gianni is a starter too. Any other Sydney starters on here?

Andy.

mattyvas

Adam get ya shit together and keep up with the times, what has a week of married life done...  [cheeky] [cheeky]
Vince got done in by the Germans again this year, so the trailer will serve for track days and other things.

You do remember there is an RRrrrrr on the way.

I'll be coming over from Tas. We'll be getting off the ferry on Friday morning and heading west via GOR. I'm riding with two other, both on 900SS's. Apparently we are meeting a few others in Melb so about 7 of us all in. Your most welcome to join us. If your keen, PM me and I'll tell you our route and proposed stops for the night. This is defn the long way over but should be worth it.
