RED

Just called KR (10:30am 10-08-08) and they said they have two camp cabins left @ $75/night, tent sites w/water&elec @$45/night, and the B&B has a few rooms for $150-175/night. She said it's filling up fast for the fall.

I'm thinking maybe a tent site for myself but would need someone to tote all the gear down if I ride. How long is the moto ride down there? Guess I'd prefer to ride in the comforts of a climate controlled 4-wheeled transport w/RED in tow but I'm game for a ride. I used to travel this route lots back in the day.

You can count the hot tub as bathing, right? You were hygenically sound on the trip and didn't even know it  [laugh]

I have just booked a room for Amy and myself.  [thumbsup]  [clap] [popcorn]
There were no cabins left for 2 people, I'm not sure if they had bigger cabins, so we booked a B&B room. [wine]

We have discussed getting down there, the ride two up seams a little to much so we have decided to take the car as well.

If someone has space for my bike it would be greatly appreciated so we could cage it together, if not I will ride and she will drive.

The B&B is next to the pool which is next to our cluster of cabins [thumbsup]

Well... here we go again...  :'(

Alan and I will not be going on this trip.  Two separate things (best described here as "family issues") have made it impossible for us to make this hill country weekend.

So, without further adieu, I had agreed to take Jason's bike on our trailer.  Jason has first "dibs" on the use of our trailer for the weekend.

Andy and Amy can have the cabin Alan and I have reserved if that's of interest (Cabin #29 / $175.00 per night - the first night's rent has already been prepaid).

I'm not sure what it's going to take for me to make another one of these hill country extravaganzas but this is really getting old  >:(

Lisa,

That is so sad to hear, I hope the "family issues" are not to painful.

We are interested in taking the cabin, we have booked and paid for the first night in the B&B but can hopefully switch it around.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!

well.  it looks like we need Lisa and Alan cardboard heads....  and given the level of intoxication the evenings in the hill country typically engender, I shudder to think of the shenanigans those heads are going to be photographed committing...

Unless someone else has a trailer spot, I guess i will ride down Friday afternoon on the bike. Since I have to be back at work Monday, I will just leave out Sun. around noon.
