Have any of you noticed fuel availability issues where you are. On my side of town in Raleigh, there is only 87 octane available. Seems like they are only paying for the cheap stuff. What are you all seeing?

The pipeline was damaged in Houston during the hurricane, so it took them a while to get supplies back to normal. Given that everyone was running out, I have a feeling they used most of the pipeline capacity to transport the most popular choice, 87 octane. Which is fine by me, it's all I use anyway.

As of Friday, it was starting to go back to normal around RTP.

Yeah, in Chapel Hill there's been a general gas shortage lately with most of the stuff I've seen available being 87.

However, in my weekend travels, I didn't find a single station out of 87 and only a couple that were out of the higher grades.

On top of that, I saw prices as low as $2.89 for regular, so hopefully sunny days are ahead.
