For those of us who own Sport 1000's (or those of you with a secret, "crush on your cousin" type of lust for them), I just learned some interesting news.

For 2008, Ducati is dropping the plain old Sport 1000 biposto from their lineup.  The Sport Classic series now only includes two flavors of the GT1000, and the Sport 1000 is available only as a 1000S.  However, it's offered in 2 colors now - traditional red, as well as silky black.  It's a pretty sexy biatch if you as me.  But not enough to separate me from my "rare" 2006 Sport 1000.   

BF - the 06 is the only badass sport classic with any level of "freakin hot"!  dry clutch - single shock - monoposto - single sided exhaust - need I say more?

that is sweet but i still think yours looks great i just wish i could get a lil taller so i could ride the smart or sport comfortably.

Aw Man, it's probably one of the last of yours I need to see before I've seen the entire collection.    

I don't know. I'm not quite sure if ya'll are ready for the awesomeness that the BiB could bring to this group. Just saying....

lol, i was speaking of Jim's SC1000.  The BinB is a bit different, it is a rare bike.  The SC isn't...yet

i peaked in the back of AMS D, and have seen the fabled BinB.  it's badass.  it needs to be ridden.  it needs to be flogged on back roads and paraded in her glorious nakedness at pubs and cafes....
