custom headlight cover made by the Bonwilder.  Headlight will be unplugged too........legal right?

Unplugged is good, but just a convenience...
The idea behind the tape is that if the glass breaks in a crash the glass is kinda held together & has less of a chance of going everywhere.

That's why I take mine off ;D

That's a good idea, take off everything possible for less breakage potential.

Man, I can't believe how narrow that bike is without the front stuff on it.  Only the tank sticking out a little beyond the forks.
