i peaked in the back of AMS D, and have seen the fabled BinB.  it's badass.  it needs to be ridden.  it needs to be flogged on back roads and paraded in her glorious nakedness at pubs and cafes....
Call me an idiot, but if I had the last PS1000LE in existence, I'd ride it............hard!

Won't catch me calling you an idiot... ever. Not that there's anything wrong with that. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] My wife says that's her job to say that about me. Does B claim the same rights? [cheeky]

Aw Man, it's probably one of the last of yours I need to see before I've seen the entire collection.   ;)  ;D

Hey, you guys see it in my avatar every time I post. [thumbsup] That's still one of my favorite pics of any of my bikes. You can thank Cory for that one. It looks great in full size, the shrunk avatar doesn't do his snap shot justice. Also big thank yous to Lisa for helping me morf his photo into avatar history! [clap]

There you go! [thumbsup]

It's got a really cool carbon rear hugger since that pic and I have a Storz Performance steering damper that needs to be mounted too.

Brian, now to be Ducatisti-fashionable you might replace the wires with cast 5-spoke black Marchesini's to mathc the clutch cover. Man, that's one nice Naked  [thumbsup]

I built that bike in my mind while laying in Baylor Hospital last year. I envisioned that bike every moment I laid in that hospital room. I knew I wanted one but what happened to me made me want one even more. It gave me something to look forward to besides going home and a focus which helped me get out of the rehab hospital in five days... not the two or three weeks they expected.

I know it sounds weird but probably not to ya'll. That bike helped me heal and ride again like I can now. It helped me get over a lot of trauma and pain. It was and will always be a catharsis of sorts. If I have ever had a bike that meant a lot to me it would be the BinB. [thumbsup]

although that is something I would like to do to my SC, I think it would be a bad idea for someone like Brian who only shows it off in pics and not on rides.  It would take away from it being a "classic" look.  But performance wise......lighter forged wheels are the way to go.

Brian, the Black and white 2006 SC1000 was my first Duc, I drooled over the BIB many times over........I can't say I know what you mean (I've never been attacked by wild game), but I can share your same enthusiasm for that bike  [beer]

It's a sweet story. I built that bike in my mind while laying half dead in Baylor Hospital last year. You have no idea how anti-bike Jen became after my animal attack (I refuse to call it a wreck since that is not what really happened to me) but I told her from my hospital bed that there is no way in hell that what happened to me would ever keep me off a bike. Get over it. I've been riding longer than she has been alive... with all due respect to her. I envisioned that bike every moment I laid in that hospital room. I knew I wanted one but what happened to me made me want one even more. It gave me the focus to heal and get out of the rehab hospital in five days... not two or three weeks they expected.

[beer]   Cheers! to the BinB

I agree. Carrozzeria makes some killer forged wheels for the Sport Classic bikes via the Motowheels website. They are awesome! But the whole styling image of the Sport Classic line demands spoked wheels. At least in my opinion. But, what ever turns your prop. [thumbsup]

Thats hot!

Good story Brian, I can see how something like that could heal just about anything that ails you  [thumbsup]
