so you only get to ride the 1098 when it's broken?  hmmm...  there's a word for that ;)
she has ridden the sbk more than that, spin stops here.  I even offered it to her in Arkansas.  Also, since I received it, she has always had the key, and I work...a lot!

Maybe she's the culprit?

Funny you say that. I just picked up this mag's (http://www.motorcycleclassics.com/) latest issue just last night and was reading abou that event. Now that's all about grassroots racing at it's best.  [thumbsup] +1 on being there.

BULLSHIT =

Marquess just got a ticket in the mail citing that he was traveling at an unsafe speed.  I'm sorry, I have to call BullShit, and I would most deffinitely pay a visit to the judge to keep that off my record.  They don't know what speed he was traveling.  They have zero proof.  He could easily have ran off the road (accidentally) while riding his motorcycle at the speed limit, which I believe was 55 or 60 mph.  He was riding in a group and lost control of his motorcycle.....(flat tire, sand, gravel, problem with bike, etc....)

Oh yeah, that is total f#@king bulls#@t!!! I can't believe that trooper did that. He seemed like a very nice, understanding guy. He had nothing to go on other than what he was told by me and others and most of that was second or third hand info. I wasn't following him! Hell, I was eight miles down the road! That's just wrong. Doesn't he have enough troubles with adding salt to the wound? That sounds like a very "fightable" ticket but who the hell wants to hire an attorney in Cooke County and then travel to Gainesville (probably the county seat) to go to court? That sucks. :P

That is really not suprising. The police probably scouted the area for gravel and debris. The accident investigation most likely states that the cause was excessive speed (an easy box to check.) This will be an easy ticket to beat. Reasonable doubt can be a wonderful thing. Since he doesn't remember what happend, and no witnesses, there is no way to prove that he was going too fast. For all the police know he could have been distracted by a bee in the helmet!

"Your Honor, at no time during the trip was I riding at a speed that was too fast for the road, conditions, or my skill on the motorcycle. I believe that there was an external factor that caused my accident, but I do not remember what happend. The people who were behind me were travelling at a similar and safe speed, and they navigated he corner successfully."

Case dismissed. Next case. [thumbsup] [moto] [beer]
