Hello, everyone.  I live in San Francisco and will be checking out the 696 later today at Munroe Motors. I've never owned a mc, only scooters. I have a 2008 Vespa GTS 250cc and bent 1958 Vespa Allstate. My '58 bike was recently involved in a wrestling match with a limo. Unfortunately, it lost and I broke my left wrist and right leg. Today I am celebrating my cast removal by checking out the 696! ;D

I knew one day I would get a mc, but wanted to start off slowly. The accident, unfortunately (or fortunately) gave me a lot of time to research which bike I want. i stumbled onto this forum during my research time and read great discussions, so I registered last night.

I know I will be asking loads of repetitive, newbie questions, so I will apologize now.

Well, I hope to get the 696 if all works out. My main dilemma is I need to sell the GTS. I have one potential buyer, but she's hesitating. Wish me luck and maybe one day I can add some useful input rather than asking questions!

Cheers!
Ray

Thanks! I'm sure I will have a ton of questions after my visit to Munroe.  ;)

Got Duc

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.
