if you're about to buy gear from them hold off for a few weeks.

The DMF is going to be on their list of groups for a unique way they sponsor...

when you buy you will be able to designate the DMF as recipient of one dollar from your purchase...put forward from newenough so it won't cost you.

When enough sales happen the DMF will be able to use the funds for cool contests and giveaways like a leather jacket or race suit in the winner's size(or just a pair of gloves...depending on how much money we have accrued).

I ordered my Sidi Vertigo Rain yesterday and didn't see the DMF as an option for a donation, so, as I need them now, I ordered anyway. This sponsorship opportunity was arranged a while back and I thought it wasn't going to happen - sorry.

BTW: NewEnough went above and beyond to help me return my AlpineStars Ridge, which had a small tear in one velcro. They gave me a gift certificate to cover more than the boots plus shipping both ways. I'm amazed! So much for the reported hassle of buying online from overseas

Yay - I remember they had that $1 donation set up for TOB - good to hear that they are coming on over here.  Besides the good prices, good customer service that donation engine was a reason I'd got to them over some of the competition.

Yeah...I talked to them a while ago and then it fell to the bottom of the list while working on more traditional sponsorship deals.   Sorry.  Had some time so I got back in touch and they are setting it up soon.    In the long run your dollar won't be missed   

Let us know how you like the boots (and mostly how waterproof they are).  I use Vertigo Airs and love the venting in hot weather.

I don't remember any of it coming back to the members though...maybe I missed a gear contest or maybe there was never enough money to do anything with.   

Whatever we get out of it will go back to you all.   Be great if it were a suit, but even a pair of gloves would be cool.  essay contest?  photo contest?  raffle?   something fun to determine a winner.

Just ordered some gloves.  DMF was on the donation list and appeared to work properly.
