Hey fellas/ladies,

So I was installing a fatduc o2 manipulator and had my seat off my bike leaning against my foot peg. I adjusted the handle bars to get a better view of the wire I needed to disconnect.... when I heard a crash  [bang]

Yeah, my seat cowl bashed up against the pavement and has scratches all over it!! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one of these for sale. Ebay has a few but not the color scheme I need which is silver and black stripe 06 s2r1000. Didn't see any here or on DML. Any help is really appreciated!

No. I'm a different type of idiot altogether.

Depending on how deep the scratches are and how picky you are about appearance....  crayons.

You can patch up minor scratches with color matched crayons.  Scribble across the scratches with the crayon.  This fills them in.  Then buf off, leaving wax only in the scratches.  Bot perfect but very inexpensive.

I'll have to give this a try. The most noticeable part is obviously on the black stripe. I'll try a black crayon as a temporary fix until I can find one on eBay, or some other place.
