All the Westies keep posting about dinner and drinks.  Well, I'm jealous and damned if it's not blistering cold at 11 p.m. riding to Frisco.  So, how about we do something here this week or next?  By that I mean central Dallas.

Javiers is too high brow for this crew! I say let's focus on the Hard Eight BBQ deal this upcoming Sunday. Then again, Javiers has rocked my sox for over 20+ years. But it is expensive. I wouldn't go there with the DFWM masses unless they knew that ahead of time. In this economy and stressful times I'd say avoid Javiers. Good God did I just say that? Blasphemy! Well, I fortunately went there just a week ago for the anniversary thing so I am good for a while! I'm thinking Hard 8 BBQ for a long, leisurely lunch this upcoming Sunday.

indeed but I'm talking about during the week.  nothing to do with Hard 8 but rather happy hour/dinner during the week is all.

how about thursday night, and how about Ethiopian food ( yes, yes..  insert your funny famine joke here )?

they have meat + sauce type dishes that are very good.  some are spicy, some are not so much.  They have italian food for wimps.  Queen of Sheba in addison... 

Tonight no beuno.    Apparently I have to listen to a guy from Silkolene tell me how their oil is more oily than everyone else's oil.

Hijack alert...Thursday night Sirius Radio will be presenting "The War of the Worlds" in it's original broadcast. Would anyone be up for a DFWM gathering to eat, drink and be thankful they really havn't invaded us yet?? If someone has a home unit or the home adapter it can be done.
