I asked one of the photographers what they were up to, who responded,

"Esquire Magazine. Now hug your friend and smile....click-POOF"

There were 2 of them. It was a little stupid how they kept posing everyone. How many "CHEESE  [thumbsup]" poses can a mag think is interesting?

Well, it IS Esquire...Granted, I think some relatively intelligent stuff has come out of that rag, but from what I can tell from the covers I see as I stand in line at the grocery store, it's largely about how to "make her go crazy in bed," the best ab exercises, chest hair, debates on who was the best James Bond, $3K suits, and scantily dressed women.   [coffee]

Good meeting new folks and having a few beers.  Weather held out and roads were semi-dry.

Funny cause the photographer said he was taking pictures for Zeitgeist's annual "yearbook". eh.
gave them the scowl, a finger and he snapped the shot.  [laugh]

see you guys next time.

It is...because upwardly-mobile dickheads with Blackberries read it. Then they come to Zeitgeist because they think it makes them cool.

kind of like buying a Ducati  ;D

I read a review of Z somewhere and the person complained about the yuppie Ducati snobs that drink there now... I kid you not, I will have to find the link.

I dont tip the food staff just to keep them ornery, and I personally pee all over the floor of the port "O" potties just to keep the place authentic.  Next time I go there and I see a dude wearing a pink polo I will pour my beer on them.  [thumbsup]

Why not pee on them? Then you kill two birds with one stone...R. Kelly style.

dq ... did you not see the sarcasm in my reply/comment to 'belle?  ;D

my reply was directed at 'belle's comment of:
it's largely about how to "make her go crazy in bed," the best ab exercises, chest hair, debates on who was the best James Bond, $3K suits, and scantily dressed women.  i happen to enjoy scantily dressed women ... chest hear, i can do without.  [thumbsup]

ftr, i have no crackberry, i am not upwardly mobile at the moment ... but i AM a dickhead, although somewhat cool, or so i have been told/lead to believe  8)

"Great place, before all the ducati-riding designers wrecked it. Last time I was there I was bugged non stop by this annoyingly handsome but totally lame realtor who was trying to ditch his date. Apparently he and her bro had rented harleys for the weekend to tour wine country. I tried to like him..I really did..."

ouch... "ducati-riding designers" that hits this group pretty hard...  [laugh]  [drink]

It's the same tired refrain everyone uses about the Mission.  Everyone wants to be the lone yuppie hanging out in a sea of tattoo'd artists and bike messengers.  Guess what?  You're not different than yuppies you're complaining about.

Mebbe a group burn-out next month in an ineffectual attempt to prove 'them' wrong?
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

alternative suggestion ... next time any of the MOB is at zg and sees a photographer taking their photo ... spit on them as they take the photo, kick them in the balls after they take the photo ... then smash their camera.  the headlines will then read "ducati riding punks terrorize the zg" ... viola! [thumbsup]

Sometimes I find myself getting sucked in by Yelp... it's the same part of me that doesn't turn the channel when I see midgets and women with their shirts off throwing chairs at one another during a Jerry Springer Show.  That right there is usually enough to pregnant dog-slap me back into reality.

Oh boy, I love a good burnout!

And I'm sure when I walk into the place there is much grumbling about how old farts are wrecking the joint.

make the beast with two backs 'em.
