Since when do motorcycles get emission tested anyway?? I had those evil Termi race only pipes on my 1098 and I doubt that would pass any emission test.

Texas has motorcycle emissions laws, they just do not enforce testing. It is super expensive to set it up for cars, and most places cannot afford to buy it for bikes to. We looked into it when we owned a car wash/lube center. It was going to run around $80k IIRC. I expect Texas to mandate motorcycle testing before too long.

And police can give tickets for non DOT exhaust whenever they want. I have seen it done.

Well Charles ,  it looks like you had a great trip to Indy this year. DFWers are always welcome this side of "sippi"

Looks like the Aprilia RS250 may be coming over as well. Found out earlier today. We are thinking about holding off on the RS125 just to be sure. That would be even sweeter  [thumbsup]

We also found out a few things we didn't like about the 125. New shock and forks is almost required (according to the UK guys) for someone as portly as myself. They recommended getting the 250, and to leave the 125 to "women and teens"  [evil] ;D

The Streetfighter website is up on the Ducati site... nice intro movie [thumbsup]

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Yes -it IS very nice!!!
-But I worry about having stuff that is TOO nice.
I realy liked the TriColore 1098S too.
but I ride hard and ride a LOT, so...
It is inevitable it would smack the asphalt more than I would appreciate.   :(

I'm sure it will be amazing to see in person!
There is no telling, but it could come with aditional hotrod parts/tuning also!

I think Charles should get one to go next to his 916SPS!
...if you don't have room I could store it at my place for you buddy!...   [evil]
