Damn!  Missed out on the Hypermotard demo ride.  Didn't get up in time to get over there before closing up shop.  Got there about 2:30 but they were already packing.  Begged and groveled for a bit to no avail.  I really wanted to check out one of them.  Damn!

Too bad Kawboy I got to ride one on saturday. I thought they were staying later. PJ's might have a demo and that would be more fun anyway. The ride was VERY controlled.

Why?  Did they frown on your hyperdude squidly antics?  Did you show up in sandals, kayaking helmet, and shirtsleeves and start wheelying around the parking lot?     Wish I could have been there to watch their reaction.  Why did you even want to even ride one of theirs when you had your own for at least 2000 miles, right?

Actually I got a very nice Motard. Twas an S model with an Ohlin dampner the likes of which I'd never seen, kept the lass tight in the twisties, almost frighteningly too tight! Then there was a a twofer one Termi setup which cranked. the leader asked us not to rubber band but I let some distance get twixt me an the next lad and I shotgun blasted like a twingin' rubber band!
I wish I had some outfit on other than the usual...I been looking at a Rossi helmet. It was fun Dylan and his dad were part of the group they were working the show, riding in the middle and caboose, keeping all the riders in check. Jonesy was out there too. 

Sounds like it was a lot of fun.  I am picking up my Paladin today and driving back to the Springs tomorrow.  I needed to bring Boo so that precluded riding the bike back.

Well, the whole purpose of this particular trip was to cover the Council meeting tonight, and while I was at it to pick up my bike.  I was able to squeeze in a visit to the hand surgeon as well.  I want to stop by DucNight, but I have a feeling you will already be home asnoozin'.  The meeting will likely go on till 9 or 9:30 due to elections and 2009 budget this month.  It's my last meeting as my term is over after the election.  I was keeping my eye on the board to see if any were venturing out so I could swing by if there were any still standing.  I won't be riding though.  We are loading the bike this afternoon.  May even use your neighborhood loading dock if they will let us.  Sure would make it easier.  We'll see.
