Traction control on the 1198S  [bang] Looks like it will be injector based TC. Rumor is that it will be launched at Almeria in a few weeks  :'(

Where'd you hear that? Sounds like a pretty specific rumor. Can't beleive they would spend money to develop a completely different TC system if they already have one that works really well and shouldn't really cost that much to produce.  I reckon we will know pretty soon but I'm getting antsy!

It was posted on the 1098 forum, but I got it from a dude on the MV forum. He works for MV, but always gets the Ducati stuff early. He confirmed the streetfighter about 6 months ago, and was even right on the pricing.

Cool, I love multiple sources.

That will be great if they do an early motojournalist review at a track.  I reckon SBKPlanet will have about the first review out there.  Can't wait!!

Bullshit is clicking on this forum and getting a freakin' pop-up  >:(

Sorry to hear about all the bad luck lately, T & B.  Totally sucks.  Hang in there!

***DISCLAIMER---This in NO way has anything to do with Zach, Marquess or Jim and Lyndy***

Bullshit is everytime we help people move their bikes, something shitty happens.....what kind of karma do I have?

Help Zach get his 1098s to Arkansas, drop it on the trailer.....
Help Marquess get his 848 to AMS from Bowie, TX.......totalled trailer, 848, and Montero.......
Help Lyndy get her bike to the track and back to her house.....driving to Jim and Lyndy's house yesterday and pull off to eat at Carraba's (check spelling??) and someone breaks into the F-350 and steals my Kenwood in-dash dvd with 7" flip up screen (second time I have had it stolen this year) and my Garmin GPS.  So far that's all we "think" is missing.  Well, my 18 diamond wedding band was in the cup holder, glad they missed that!

Benevolence is gone.....no more moving others bikes......not until my luck changes  :-\

OMG! T&B, I'm sure there is nothing anyone can say that would make anything better but I'd be willing to pitch in to a fund to re-pay you guys for all your kindness you've shown this group in the recent past. If there is anything I personally can do don't hesitate just ask and it's done. My heart goes out to you guys. You two are the salt of the earth. This is horrible. You have to ask sometimes if it's worth having anything nice. Seems like there's always some asshole somewhere that doesn't give a care for others and ruins things. Thank goodness they will get their due I hope sooner than later. Please don't think that everything in Texas is like these past few weeks. DON'T go anywhere !!

Bullshit is reading a completely insensitive personal attack on a person and a dog, and then it suddenly disappears 2 mins later so no one else can see the true feelings of some people.

$200 for a car key is complete and total BS. I think Ive posted this one before but it totally deserves to be said again. Not only do they charge me $200 for their damn key, I had to sit there for 2 hours while they "program it"... who says technology is better!

Have you had your Duc serviced yet?  It is what it is my man...... want a $30 key, buy a KIA, want a $400 service, buy a Suzuki.

I feel your pain. When I got the '08 Chevy pick up I thought I'd get a couple of extra keys. $110 a piece... if I remember right. And they had to recut them two different times and they are still a little iffy. I probably should use them on a regular basis to get the new, fresh cut key worn off of them. I can see the time coming when I loose the original and have to resort to the cut spare and it decides not to work. :P Keys should be cheap. I think Obama needs to pass a Federal law saying so. [laugh]

New Economics 101. It puts the theif in business and the locksmith out of business. Just another part of the economic paradigm shift. Much like iTunes.
