I read some of his posts on TOB, and his obvious expertise on lubricants was a great asset.

RIP George, your contributions to this community (and the VW tdi community among others) will live on.  Many thanks if you can read this where you are at.

He was very generous with his time and talent.  My condolences to his family and friends.

What a classy guy.  

Always willing to help and share, I have a ton of emails with him answering my stupid petrochemical questions.

He loved to hear about tuning results and engine runs with this or that oil.  I sent him half a dozen oil analysis sheets and he always got back to me with good info.
