I'll be there by 11:40am. I've never been here but it was voted best Cajun Restaurant in the Dallas Observer's 'Best Of 2008' issue so I suppose it might have merit.

Yummy!!  Wish I could make this - well I suppose I could but would only be able to stay for say  hmmmm about 20min. so I won't torture myself.  Y'all have fun!     

I've eaten there. It's a funky ex KFC building but the cajun food kicks ass! Tried to get Jen to eat there just last week, she had other ideas but I highly recommend it. If the weather is nice you can sit outside, they have a few picnic tables.

Have fun, I'll be waiting on my pick up to be sprayed with Rhino Lining in the mid cities.

Again, it rocks. Very different, not real classy but who cares? The food kicks ass. I'm not the biggest fan of their seafood gumbo but I am picky about gumbo and it's not bad at all, just not my favorite. Don't let that stop you. I'm picky about chile rellenos too. If I weren't in the Arlington area and Jen wasn't serving on Grand Jury in Dallas we'd both be there!

Bri thanks for the info on this place. It's always good to get the 411 before you go. If anyone is up for this lunchtime adventure post up! Sorry to hear you won't make it though, I'd love to sit and talk with you and your bride sometime over a dallas flash lunch. We've now gotten two of em done and this will be the third today so who knows it may take on a personality of it's own and we might have to call it something else to make it feel good. That's PC right?

The place sounds great, & lunch with you rebels is always good, but I don't think I can do Cajun after 2 days of stomach flu
