i know there is a thread for this, but the search on this site does not work! i think its my browser. does anyone else have trouble using safari on this site? for one the search doesn't work, its always saying my session times out when i try to post, and sometimes it won't let me log in. anyway i'm rambling. heres my question...

what do i need to do to put my bike up for the winter. if you don't want to go into detail maybe you can shoot me a link to a thread that talks about this.

thanks in advance...

Interesting. I got search results using Safari, but not what I expected. I searched for 'winter storage' and got a page of results that did not include the 'How To: Winter Storage' page linked above. That page did come up when I used the full title in the search string though.

i also have a hard time searching the site, but figure it to be a carbon based error.
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

Don't put the bike up for the winter.  Keep it inside (relatively speaking), but in such a way that you can launch it in a matter of minutes.  Depending on where you are, there will be winter days that you can leave work early and have launch instead of lunch.  [thumbsup]

I know down here in the Southern Appalachians the mountain roads are yours on a sunny winter workday - like a personal race track - everybody is somewhere else.  It can be quite a tweek in the middle of the week. [thumbsup] [moto] [thumbsup]
